Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients team in Bedminster, New Jersey. In this role, you will be tasked with handling a variety of accounting functions, including processing and coding accounts payable, using accounting software systems, and managing audits. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities Oversee the processing of customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer credit records Handle customer inquiries and issues, providing timely and effective resolutions Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status Perform account coding using various accounting software systems Utilize ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems in performing accounting functions Collaborate with the team in performing accrual accounting tasks Manage accounts payable (AP) and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded Conduct auditing activities as required Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is required. Must be familiar with Accounting Software Systems. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must. Knowledge of Concur is necessary. Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required. Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. Proficiency in Accrual Accounting is required. Previous experience in Auditing is a must. Must have knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations.
