We’re better together! This role is fully on-site (all 5 days in the office) for the first 90 days and Monday through Thursday after that (Fridays can be optional).
This is a full-time, direct-hire role, meaning no C2C/C2H.

What does a great AIX Administrator do?You will have the primary responsibility of installing, supporting and maintaining the Fiserv hosted systems and applications that provide services to our customers. You will be involved in day to day management, support and troubleshooting of AIX systems, Windows, Network infrastructure and Fiserv core applications. You will act as a technical resource within the systems engineering team supporting a 24x7 hosting environments. Remote or onsite hardware installation as requested by clients, you may be expected to travel onsite at our clients site in the US – may be once a quarter.What you will do:
Install core IBM AIX and Dell VMware servers by remote or onsite at licensed client locations.
Configure, monitor and maintain SaaS core applications.
Adhere to established SLAs, mitigate risk, and complete detailed root cause analysis.
Serve as point of contact for Tier 2 and 3 escalated client services reported operations incidents.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate systems issues and work with vendors on the client’s behalf.
Implement and maintain systems security measures.
Provides support to projects that involve new hosted solutions sold to the financial sector.
Resolves interoperability problems to maintain operations across all platforms.
Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
Participate in on-call support on rotational basis.
What you will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or relevant experience
2 to 5 years of experience with IBM AIX systems administration and Dell / VMware experience
2 to 5 years of experience with system and network troubleshooting
Experience with writing scripts using Korn shell and Perl
Excellent working knowledge of system administration tools and processes.
General knowledge of third-party utilities for monitoring system performance.
