Position Summary:The Manager, External Workforce Program position is a critical role within both the Total Talent function and North America Human Resources. The role reports directly to the Director, External Workforce Programs. The role is responsible for managing the scope and delivery of the Contingent Labor and Managed Services (FLEXT) program across all the Sanofi NA.The position’s main goal is to the External Workforce Programs including Contingent Labor and Managed Services is functioning within the Sanofi standards and expectations of delivery – achieving the primary goal of satisfactorily procuring, presenting and aiding in selection of qualified professionals to fulfill talent requirements on a temporary/contracted basis.The person in this role must ensure maintenance of a quality user experience and customer service excellence for the hiring managers across all organizations engaging the services of the program. The position will also focus on designing strategic initiatives to increase program relevance, improve program adoption, and ensure vendor performance.Job Functions and Duties:Drive roadmap for assessment and deployment of North America External Workforce programs and technology in support of Play To Win business objectives

Act as project lead for the implementation for new projects and programs related to External Workforce (FLEXT) programs

Act as main point of contact for internal partners and clients as well as external vendors

Keep Talent Team and Business Stakeholders apprised of industry leading best practices through market research and benchmarking both domestically and globally

Maintain partnership with strategic MSP partner (Pontoon) and ensure delivery of best in class service to internal clients to meet critical business needs

Act as primary owner of External Workforce related processes, ensuring program operations are meeting or exceeding expectations, complying with Sanofi standards and are best-in-class

Conduct internal business reviews regarding the External Workforce program performance, metrics and overall effectiveness and efficiency of the program.

Partner with Sanofi’s Legal, Human Resources, Finance, Compliance, Security, and other partners and stakeholders as appropriate, to ensure the programs are appropriately aligned with and representative of company policy and strategy in these areas.

Ensure mechanisms exist and are reviewed for performance metrics and efforts to assess vendor effectiveness. Where necessary, collaborate with above mentioned partners to drive cost savings, vendor analysis, optimization strategies for staffing suppliers

Collaborate with HR Business Partners on talent initiatives where contingent labor should be considered as an option vs. FTEs – including but not limited to talent quality, diversity, pipeline and other business initiatives

Conduct 1:1 meetings with leadership to discuss and keep HR Leadership updated to any situations that arise needing sr. leadership attention

Qualifications:Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree (or a minimum of 5 years of additional work experience in lieu of a degree)

A minimum of 5 years business experience

A minimum of 3 years of experience working with a combination of: Procurement of Professional Services, Contingent Labor, Corporate Talent Acquisition, Executive Search, 3rd Party Recruiting or Agency recruitment solutions.

Experience managing vendor relationships

Demonstrated ability to effectively build relationships, including managing senior stakeholders

Strong influencing skills to drive strategy forward in a non-regulated environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proven ability to facilitate meetings and give presentations to senior management

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in an environment with competing and evolving demands.

Ability to deliver results while working in a fast-paced and fluid environment

Ability to proactively to anticipate issues, develop/improve processes, and influence outcomes.

Project leadership/management experience, including building strategy and business cases

Transition/change management experience strongly preferred

Experience developing, analyzing, and presenting metrics preferred
