The Food Region includes Retailers such as: Kroger, Albertson’s, HEB, Meijer, Publix, and many other grocery retailers. This is a great opportunity to experience a customer-facing sales role while learning about how a large Health Care company functions and works. The intern will have direct exposure to both the customer and internal teams and receive a broad understanding of the various functions and roles within the Personal Care industry.SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop knowledge and understanding of the Over the Counter and Personal Care industry.
Complete a project for a Retailer or group of Retailers focused one or several of the following areas; merchandising, assortment, pricing, shelving, retailer media and e-commerce.
Share learnings, implications and recommendations based on project to Food Region Leadership.
Participate in a variety of internal and external stakeholder meetings, including forecast reviews, sales meetings, strategy meetings, external meetings with agency partners (Mars and Acosta) and Retailer meetings.
This position will report to the Kroger Senior Team Lead.
QUALIFICATIONS:Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, E-commerce, or Retailer Media.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong teamwork abilities, able to work well with others.
Strong analytical, task prioritization, and attention to detail skills.
Curious mindset, keen to learn and develop oneself.
