Position Details Position Information Recruitment/Posting Title Post-Doctoral Associate Department FASC - Chemistry Salary Commensurate With Experience Posting Summary A Postdoctoral associate position is available in the LFTDI, the laboratory of Dr. Catherine M. Grgicak in the Department of Chemistry, Rutgers University-Camden.This one- year position will support the work of Dr. Grgicak's laboratory, working to innovate methods to simplify the interpretation of nucleic acid signal obtained from complex environments. Specifically, we develop detection, recognition, recovery and DNA interpretation devices to better understand what occurred during a crime. We seek a self-motivated, career-oriented postdoc to develop novel NGS assays for single-cell replicate analysis.The expertise requires a thorough knowledge of molecular biology and biochemistry (DNA extraction, amplification, electrophoresis and NGS), image analysis experience, and data analytics or data science.
