Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Camden, New Jersey. The role is within the finance industry and will involve tasks such as managing accounts payable and receivable, executing bank reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and performing month end close procedures. Responsibilities Managing and maintaining the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. Handling journal entries in accordance with financial policies and procedures. Overseeing the General Ledger and ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate. Performing Month End Close tasks, ensuring all financial reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Utilizing financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform various accounting tasks. Requirements Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar capacity Demonstrated expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations Substantial knowledge of maintaining and managing the General Ledger Ability to prepare accurate Journal Entries Experience in handling Month End Close procedures Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Oracle Familiarity with QuickBooks is required Experience with SAP is desirable Candidates must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
