Kast Distributors, Inc. South Jerseys premier distributor of Restaurant Supplies is rapidly growing and looking to add to our amazing team of Warehouse Associates! Position: Warehouse Compensation: This is a Union position that follows a pay progression as determined by the Union Contract Shifts: Sunday through Thursday (8PM to 5AM), Monday through Friday (Various)Our Warehouse Personnel are part of a team whose mission is to efficiently process order fulfillment by selecting products for shipment, arranging items efficiently/safely on pallets for load out and staging them on our loading dock. Associates must maintain a level of work productivity as established by warehouse management. Keep work area clear of spills or unsanitary conditions to promote a healthy environment. Skills/ Responsibilities: Locate, select, label and ensure orders are picked to 100% accuracy / 100% completion. Pick orders for each route per Pick Labels and Route Sheets.Replenish Pick Slots as/when needed.Perform general cleaning duties and maintain Pick Slot order/organization throughout.Load and unload product on and off trucks. Other Duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Previous experience in a warehouse setting.Candidate must be able to work in a team environment and/or independently.Strict attention to detail and accuracy needed.Ability to read, write and speak English and possess good basic math skills.Ability to work in hot and/or cold environments.Must be able to stand, bend, reach and lift in excess of 50lbs. Must be acclimated to working at heights in excess of 12 in performance of duties. Preference will be given to candidates with the following equipment experience: Order/Cherry Picker, Fork Truck, Reach Truck, Ride on/Walk behind Pallet Jack.Must be willing to work overtime as/when needed. Job Type: Full-time. Pay does vary based on shiftWe are also looking for the 4:30 a.m. shift for picking, replenishments, receiving, and put away processes with scanners.Veteran Encouraged to apply!
