CLIENT OVERVIEW:
Our client is a long-standing organization that is looking to add a Junior Accounts Payable Clerk. This company is looking for someone professional who can work in a team just as effectively as they can work independently.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$19/hr - $20/hr
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Applicants for the Junior Accounts Payable Clerk must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Our client is looking for some previous experience, but is willing to train the right candidate. A minimum of one year of accounts payable experience is a big plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JUNIOR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK:
Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices.
Researching and resolving accounts payable with customers and vendors.
Updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the general ledger.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE JUNIOR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
High-volume accounts payable experience or equivalent knowledge.
Strong Excel skills.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree and/or equivalent experience are required.
