CLIENT OVERVIEW:

Our client is a well-established and highly respected organization in the healthcare products and services industry. They are actively seeking to hire a new Supply & Services Procurement Manager.

SALARY/HOURLY RATE:

$50/hr - $55/hr

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Supply & Services Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing procurement and sourcing, maintaining vendor relationships, and conducting tracking and analysis. The ideal candidate for this position is diligent, a multi-tasker, organized, dedicated to meeting deadlines, and has experience in management roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SUPPLY & SERVICES PROCUREMENT MANAGER:

Adhere to Global Procurement governance in all projects, following the GPPM (Global Procurement Policy Manual) and the CRMC (Contract Risk Management Committee) process.

Maintain close contact and cultivate strong partnerships with category stakeholders to better understand business needs.

Engage with senior leaders when there is a need to escalate any issues.

Manage ethical and professional relationships with vendors.

Support global and regional initiatives identified in the annual goal alignment.

Assist in procurement risk assessment and risk mitigation plans.

Evaluate and recommend technologies or practices based on business priorities.

Employ stakeholder engagement best practices to grasp business needs and align on resources and priorities.

Identify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with key vendors.

Ensure compliance with contractual terms, monitor supplier performance, and address any issues.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to uncover opportunities for efficiency improvements and sustainability initiatives.

Support the evaluation and recommendation of technologies or practices based on business priorities.

Stay informed about industry developments and best practices to effectively manage the organization's energy procurement strategy.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE SUPPLY & SERVICES PROCUREMENT MANAGER:

5 - 10 years in supply chain management. A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain within a manufacturing facility.

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Strong project management skills for equipment/technology purchases (Capital Management) and Real Estate procurement. Excellent business analysis skills: utilizing business tools and information systems in problem-solving and decision-making, using data to support recommendations. A solid understanding of capital buying procedures.

Negotiation skills: planning and anticipation, demonstrating professionalism in all business settings.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a finance-related field is required.
