Infant Room Assistant Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Infant Room Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their educational journey. Hours: (Flexible- can take some or all as able. Opportunity for growth to full-time work, substitute teaching work, and work in our other classrooms and settings. Opportunity for work in other classrooms or at our other locations.)

Monday- 12-4:30

Tuesday- 12-4:30

Thursday- 11:30-2:30

Friday- 12-4:30

Duties:

- Overseeing the safety of children between the ages of 10 weeks and 18 months

- Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment for children

- Provide individualized attention and support to each child

- Promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education

- Monitor and assess student progress, keeping detailed records

- Prepare materials, resources, and learning aids for classroom use

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in childcare preferred, but not required

- Ability to work collaboratively with others

- Strong verbal communication skills

- Ability to be flexible, organized, and think clearly under pressure

- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children

- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
