Growing Architectural Firm is currently seeking a AutoCAD Drafter. This is a full-time position at our Elizabeth office and compensation is negotiable based on experience.
Drafting of the following technical plans using AutoCAD:
Residential and commercial floor plans, foundation plans, elevations, wall sections, details, plumbing diagrams, electrical, HVAC lay-outs and site plans.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Work with project manager and project architects to understand the scope of work.
2. Complete drawings/project responsibilities within scope and review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
3. Organize/maintain all revisions of project drawings.
Minimum Requirements:
Certificate/degree or related education in Computer Drafting/Design
Minimum 2 year CAD experience in an architectural environment.
Strong working knowledge of Auto CAD 2018 or higher
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Good working knowledge within CAD drawings as related to:
1. Layer management and usage.
2. Drawing scales as they relate to text, dimensions, lines, viewpoints, etc.
3. Ability to meet job requirements/requests to achieve deadlines.
Ability to work under minimum supervision and resolve issues independently based on project/company standards.
