Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000+ (commensurate with licensure and experience)

Position Overview:

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead survey operations for our engineering and construction services client. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Warren, NJ. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of land surveying experience, including leadership on vertical construction projects, along with a strong background in team management and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and review survey drawings, plats, legal descriptions, title reviews, and construction layout data.

Deliver clear, concise weekly progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting milestones, risks, and resource needs.

Lead and mentor both field and office survey teams; manage personnel and technical resources across multiple projects.

Develop and implement safety plans, QA/QC protocols, and peer review processes for all survey deliverables.

Represent the firm in client meetings and proposals; support business development and relationship management.

Monitor project budgets, profitability, and accounts receivable; coordinate billing and collections with accounting.

Drive staff development, performance evaluations, and recruitment efforts.

Promote the company’s brand and values through professional conduct and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.

Perform additional duties as needed to support project and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Minimum 8 years of land surveying experience, including at least 4 years on construction projects (vertical construction preferred).

Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related survey software.

Strong ability to interpret complex drawings and technical documentation.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Self-driven, results-oriented, and effective at all levels of an organization.
