Job Title: Project Manager

Position Description:

Full understanding of client’s requirements and contractual agreements.

Direct interface between Company-Client and Company-Vendors.

Coordinate all design disciplines.

Secure resources in timely manner to conduct all design activities in controlled and scheduled progress.

Supervise all project personnel and provide quick answers to internally issued RFIs and design change requests.

Issue purchase orders and change orders.

Maintain Design Change Records and obtain all authorizations before releasing the work to design group and project engineers.

Position Responsibilities

Full and complete responsibility for the entire project success.

Manage entire project to control budget, project schedule and resources.

Prepare the billing breakdown, purchase order and change order.

Prepare transmittals and submit engineering submittals to Client.

Staffing and manpower adjustment to meet the budget and contractual obligations.

Review and approve all “Controlled” documents according to ISO requirements and Hankin QM.

Provide interface communication between Hankin-Client and Hankin-vendors, and ensure that no other communication or correspondence is flowing without your approval.

Develop “Master Design Plan” (MDP) for the project according to ISO requirements.

Prepare Basic of Design (BOD) and approved Internal Design Change Requests (IDCR).

Approval of project expenditures.

Provide internal and Client reports according to predefined schedule in MDP.

Deliver all deliverables on-time to provide timely procurement, installation and start-up.

Supervise construction manager’s activities and resolve all client’s complaints.

Coordinate compliance testing with governing authorities and obtain all necessary records for project turn-over to client.

Close the project on-time, within the budget to customer’s satisfaction.

Traveling and meeting with clients or vendors for domestic and overseas projects.

Qualification Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Minimum 10 years as a Project Manager with Engineering experience related to Process Equipment Design and incineration system.

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

BS/MS in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering

Fundamental and Comprehensive understanding of all engineering disciplines to be able to participate in decision making process (Civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and process)

Professional Engineer (P.E.) Licensed in NJ preferred (but not required).

Engineering experience related to PFD, P&ID, equipment specifications, inspections, approval, vendor data coordination, purchase order preparation and actual design of mechanical components.

Some construction experiences and job-site activities related to refineries, chemical plants, or other heavy industrial equipment installations.

Must be familiar with industry standards, engineering specifications and drawing interpretation of all engineering disciplines.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Power Point.
