About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, energetic Store Manager to lead daily operations at our bagel shop. You’ll make sure the store runs smoothly, customers are happy, and the team works together to deliver great food and great service every day.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Daily Operations
- Open and close the store on time and ensure daily prep and setup are completed.
- Oversee bagel production, breakfast/lunch prep, and coffee/drink station readiness.
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and store appearance throughout the day.
Team Leadership
- Schedule, train, and supervise team members (front, kitchen, and prep).
- Ensure staff follow recipes, portioning, and quality standards.
- Motivate and coach employees to maintain a positive, team-focused environment.
Customer Experience
- Greet and engage customers; handle feedback or complaints professionally.
- Ensure fast, friendly service even during busy rush hours.
- Maintain high product quality and consistency.
Inventory & Supplies
- Track inventory levels for bagels, spreads, drinks, and packaging.
- Place vendor orders (e.g., bagel mix, cream cheese, coffee, meats).
- Monitor waste and manage portion control to reduce costs.
Cash & Reporting
- Handle daily cash deposits and POS reconciliation.
- Review daily sales, labor costs, and prep lists.
- Report key metrics to the owner/area manager.
Marketing & Community
- Support local promotions, catering orders, and seasonal campaigns.
- Build relationships with nearby businesses, schools, and offices for catering opportunities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or quick-service restaurant (QSR) management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling standards.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during rush hours.
- Basic computer/POS skills and comfort using scheduling or inventory tools.
Schedule
- Early morning shifts (typically starting between 4:30–6:00 AM).
- Weekends and holidays as needed.
