Multiple Job Positions open in Bagel & Deli Shop in Flemington, NJ
1) Full-time and Part-Time Cashier
a) Providing excellent customer service: Greeting customers and taking orders in person/phone
b) Processing transactions: Ringing up purchases accurately and efficiently using a register or point-of- sale system
c) Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping the checkout area clean and organized, including sanitizing surfaces and
restocking inventory
d) Assisting with other tasks: Supporting other areas of the store as needed
2) Full-Time Deli/Grill Support
a) Prepare deli meats, cheeses, salads, and other deli items according to recipes and customer preferences
b) Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment to cook and prepare hot food items such as burgers, sandwiches,
and grilled meats
c) Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli and grill area, including food preparation surfaces,
equipment, and utensils
d) Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and ensure cost-effectiveness
Qualifications:
-Looking for individuals with prior DELI food service industry experience. (not necessary for the cashier position)
- Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and multitask effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
- Able to work on Holiday
