Job Summary:

The Event Host serves as the primary point of contact for clients and guests during events. They are responsible for ensuring a smooth, professional, and memorable experience by coordinating with internal teams, welcoming guests, managing timelines, and resolving any on-site issues. This role requires exceptional communication, hospitality, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome event hosts, guests, and vendors upon arrival.

Serve as the on-site liaison between clients and staff throughout the event.

Ensure event setup matches the agreed-upon floorplan and décor specifications.

Coordinate event flow (ceremonies, speeches, dinner service, entertainment, etc.) according to the timeline.

Communicate with kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure seamless operations.

Handle last-minute requests and resolve guest concerns in a calm, professional manner.

Monitor cleanliness, lighting, and overall ambiance of the venue.

Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor at all times.

Ensure all post-event wrap-up procedures are completed, including gathering feedback.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in hospitality, events, or customer service preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Calm under pressure with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

Bilingual (a plus, depending on clientele)

Familiarity with event timelines and banquet service standards

Be on your feet for extended periods
