Shir Chai Co. is a new Halal café preparing to launch a full brunch program (8AM–3PM). We’re hiring a Head Chef with real brunch kitchen experience — not just someone who’s “worked breakfast before.”
This position is for a professional who can build, run, and maintain a well-organized, high-performing brunch operation from day one.

What We’re Looking For
Proven background running or leading a brunch kitchen (minimum 3–5 years).
Strong understanding of menu flow, timing, and prep systems.
Must know how to execute consistent, well-balanced plates (eggs, pancakes, proteins, sauces, etc.).
Clean, disciplined, and calm under pressure.
Capable of hiring, training, and managing a small team (sous chefs, line cooks, prep).
Organized with strong communication and leadership skills.
Must be reliable and accountable — this is not a side gig.

Responsibilities
Design and execute a focused brunch menu that fits the café’s concept and hours (8AM–3PM).
Hire, train, and manage all kitchen staff.
Oversee daily prep, service flow, and back-of-house systems.
Maintain Halal compliance, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
Manage ordering, inventory, and food costs responsibly.
Work closely with ownership on specials, menu updates, and quality control.
Ensure every plate leaving the kitchen meets the standard — no exceptions.

All chefs will be expected to prove their skills — either through a live cooking demo or by allowing us to visit and taste your food at your current workplace.
