MANALAPAN DINER/RESTAURANT is a family-owned restaurant.

We are looking for a Full time motivated HEAD COOK/KITCHEN MANAGER, 5-6 days a week.

Overview of Position:

You will play a important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen.

You will lead as the main line chef and work alongside and oversee our kitchen staff, food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene standards, and lead line cooks so that food comes out in a timely manner and consistent in presentation.

Responsibilities:

-Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, includes cooking on the line, and expediting during peak times.

-Lead & motivate kitchen staff to ensure a collaborative & positive work place

-Monitor inventory levels as needed.

-Enforce kitchen safety and sanitation standards.

-Train and develop kitchen staff providing guidance to (line cooks, preps, etc) and feedback to the owner

Job Qualifications:

-Previous fast casual experience is a must

-Open availability and flexibility are a must

-Punctuality

-Spanish speaking a plus
