Restaurant Assistant Manager

The Manager enthusiastically leads and motivates the staff to achieve the highest levels of customer service and ensures that each guest visit results in friendly and personalized service with consistently great food, promptly delivered in a clean and inviting environment.
Responsibilities:
(willing to train some responsibilities if the right person is hired)
Train new staff to develop them into effective employees.
Participates in the recruiting and hiring of hourly employees.
Answer requests and assist with party planning with the chef
Participates in marketing, sales, and promotional efforts to increase guest traffic.
Employee scheduling.
Working on a POS system
Assure that all safety and security procedures are followed within the restaurant.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of craft beer is a plus.
Knowledge of Toast POS programming is a plus
Ability to train, guide, and lead staff professionally while friendly.
Ability to work with a high degree of independence and discretion.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Good writing, and interpersonal skills.
Computer Literacy
Good organization and time management skills.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
