Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth

- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health care instructions

- Take dental x-rays and interpret radiographs for diagnostic purposes

- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans and progress notes

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Experience:

- Experience as a Dental Hygienist

- Proficiency in using dental software

- Knowledge of dental coding

- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and interpretation

- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options

- Proficient in performing dental hygiene procedures using appropriate instruments and techniques

- Ability to accurately assess oral health conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans

- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations

- Ability to numb patients for procedures is a plus

- Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards
