REQUIREMENTS:
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to accept on-the-books payment (no cash; W-2 issued).
- Willing to undergo a background check and provide two references.
- COVID-vaccinated with up-to-date boosters.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are an African American family seeking a live-in female aide to care for our elderly mother for two days each week. She lives with one adult daughter and has another aide covering the other five days.
Our mother suffers from dementia and effects of recent stroke. You will help her with all activities of daily living; range of motion exercises; hoyer lift transfers (- she is a small woman – 120 lbs.); and other assistance typically provided by home health aide. Experience caring for patients with limited mobility is highly desired. Relevant certifications are helpful but not required.
SCHEDULE OPTIONS:
1. Saturday 8 a.m. – Monday 8 a.m.; OR
2. Friday 8 a.m. – Sunday 8 a.m.
ADDITIONAL HOURLY WORK (Not Required):
Up to 10 extra hours available on other days of the week to assist the household with cooking, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, and other household management tasks.
COMPENSATION:
- $240 for each day of the two-day shift
- $20 per hour for (optional) additional work
- Payment by check or direct deposit; W-2 provided
