The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing clinical operations and supervising field staff to ensure safe, effective, and compliant care delivery. This role supports the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing clinical services, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and promoting high standards of nursing practice within the agency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conducting initial and follow-up supervisory visits in client homes.
Reviewing care plans and ensuring quality standards are met.
Providing clinical oversight and support to home health aides.
Completing required documentation in a timely manner.
Communicating with agency staff, clients, and families as needed.
Qualifications
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience in home care, home health, or a related healthcare setting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and compliance.
