The Maintenance Department is responsible for completing tasks that involve keeping the warehouse and equipment in good condition and functioning properly to minimize potential safety hazards.
Maintenance Handyman Duties:
Maintenance Handyman will Safely operate hand tools, power tools, basic painting tools, and battery operated tools.
Assist Maintenance Supervisor on maintenance requests
Assist with any on-site emergencies that arise
Performs equipment inspections (compactor, bailer and scrubber) and report items that need to be fixed/replaced.
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Maintenance Handyman Requirements:
Prior knowledge and experience with general handyman duties including basic mechanics Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
Basic computer skills
Bilingual is a must
Ability to meet quality, safety and housekeeping standards
Physically active position including positioning oneself, moving, transporting, and ascending and descending ladders.
Standing for several hours, reach, turn, squat and lift 50 plus lbs
Safety minded
