Title: Lumper/Unloader
Location: Edison, New Jersey
Pay Rate:
Paid per load
Each lumper earns $70 per load
Loads take approximately 3-4 hours to complete
You must stay until completion of the unloading
Shifts:
1st shift
Start times vary between 8am to 1pm.
This is a part-time position ideal for someone looking to earn extra income.
We can work with your schedule all we ask is let us know your availability to work and report to work when assigned.

About Our Client:
Our customer based in Edison, NJ began their business in 1982. They are a distributor of greeting cards. They also handle display racking and gift wrap.
Position Characteristics:
Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with co-workers, clients and visitors; cultural sensitivity and ability to relate well and effectively in diverse workplace and with a diverse client population.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Will be asked to build pallets
Will be unloading cartons and placing them onto a conveyor belt
Will be working directly with the Manager at the site
Will work with 2 other lumpers as a team
Desired Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the role of Lumper would have the following background & skills:
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
Ability to read, write in English and count
Experience as a Lumper preferred
Skills and Qualifications:
Basic reading and writing
Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication & division)
Communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Able to lift 50 lbs. Lifting is required and repetitive.
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to use hands and fingers
Able to bend, stretch and reach
Able to work in a Team environment
Attention to detail is required.
Demonstrate reliable attendance and willingness to learn
