The client is a truck parts supplier. They get orders for parts and they ship them out. Some of these parts and boxes can get heavy.
Machine Operators. They use the Raymond forklifts. They must know at least the cherry picker and order pickers. They move pallets, pick orders, load and unload trucks. All machine operators will exhibit their ability to use the machine, will be certified by the client and is a requirement of OSHA to be certified in the building you are working in. If candidate has no knowledge of this machine they will not be hired. Machine Operators will not be on a forklift all day. If they are not willing to do General Labor as well this is not the job for them. This is a Team atmosphere. Machine Operators are Not using electric pallet jacks. If that is all they know, they are not qualified for this position.
If someone has interest in becoming a forklift driver, they can start out as a General Laborer and possibly in time, they will train them on the forklift.
They will have an orientation on their first day.

Drug Test – 7 panel
Background check- only going back 7 years; no felonies; misdemeanors are on a case by case basis and should be sent to the Staffing Manager before they are sent to work for clearance. Immediate disqualifiers for misdemeanors are anything violent such as an assault charge.
Everyone must have a photo taken of themselves for an ID Badge. This is submitted with the details above. The E verify number must also be included.
Dress code
Steel-toed shoes or boots. No exceptions. If they report without them, they will be sent home.
No sweats or spandex. No shorts. Jeans or pants are acceptable. No torn jeans or pants. If they report with any of these they are sent home.
No Jewelry.
Clear bags for lunches and back packs.
They will enter through a metal detector daily in and out of the facility. Bags are also inspected by security.
Shifts
1st- 8am to 5pm; Monday to Friday
2nd- 3pm to 12am; Monday to Friday
3rd- 10pm to 6am; Sunday to Thursday
