About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and professional Part-Time Field Marketing Representative to promote our Energy Solution, BESS, HVAC and energy-efficient lighting solutions to small businesses, retail stores, shops, and light industrial clients across New Jersey.
This is a client-facing, in-person marketing role ideal for individuals who enjoy meeting people, building relationships, and helping businesses adopt energy-saving technologies. You will represent our company, introduce our energy-efficiency services, gather information on existing systems, and coordinate follow-up visits for our technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit local shops, retail stores, small businesses, and light industrial facilities to introduce our HVAC and lighting energy-saving solutions.
Explain the benefits of energy efficiency upgrades and how they can reduce operational costs.
Collect basic information about existing HVAC or lighting systems (brand, type, usage, age).
Schedule and coordinate on-site technical assessments with our engineering/technical team.
Maintain records of all visits, leads, and follow-ups in the provided report sheet.
Make follow-up calls to potential clients to confirm appointments and track status.
Represent the company professionally and courteously in the field.
Provide periodic progress updates to the marketing manager.
Schedule & Compensation:
Work Hours: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday (flexible within this window).
Pay Rate: $25 per hour.
Mileage: Paid at standard rate for personal vehicle use.
Performance Bonuses:
o $100 for each successful client inquiry that leads to a qualified opportunity.
o $200 additional bonus upon confirmed client order.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for daily travel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
Comfortable visiting businesses and talking to owners/managers.
Basic understanding of HVAC or lighting systems a plus (training provided).
Must have smartphone for GPS, communication, and data entry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in sales, marketing, canvassing, or business outreach.
Familiarity with energy-efficiency programs or HVAC/lighting industries.
Residing in or near central New Jersey (e.g., Woodbridge, Edison, Metuchen, or nearby areas).
