Immediate need for an interior designer who will take direction from the team leader on projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope. HF Planners, LLC is a full services interiors firm, with projects ranging from commercial design, construction supervision, asset management, to facility management. Candidate must contribute meaningfully to projects from start to completion, and brainstorm innovative ways to bring cost saving ideas or new trends to a project.

Experience
5-10 years facility planning, and interior design.
Working Conditions
Designer typically works in an office environment but the purpose of the project may sometimes take them to non-standard workplaces to field measure and construction site.
Standard work week but may be required to work some evenings and weekends to meet project milestones.
In office 4 days a week with one day remote
Some travel required based on project.
Responsibilities
Successfully work with Project Leader on communication with client and internal team.
Development and implementation of project scope of work
o Develop Project Objectives
o Identify Key Stakeholders
o Ensure Technical Feasibility
Design
o Field Measure/ site survey of architectural conditions and building systems
o Development and Implementation of CAD drawings
o Inventory of furniture and building related items
o Programming
o Efficient space planning with knowledge of ADA and building code requirements
o FF & E selections, creation of presentation booklets and boards
o Construction document development/review
Project Management
o Capable of interfacing and communicating with client
o Assist with Budget development
o Comprehensive project documentation creation of meeting minutes
o Client requested drawings (fire evac routes/IT designation plans)
o Help to manage client expectations
o Report and escalate to management as needed
o Coordination of communication and documentation of structural, MEP, A/V, lighting, security/fire suppression, landscape and furniture consultants.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Other tasks as required- We are a hands-on, can-do firm.
Project documentation and tracking
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture or Related field.
5-10 years’ experience in Commercial/ Workplace design-related field
Outstanding Client-facing, written and verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
