S&S Manufacturing is looking for experienced field surveyor for construction sites in New York metropolitan area.
Essential functions:
· Travel to jobsites on a daily basis
· Collect field measurements accurately
· Read and interpret blueprints, AutoCad
· Use of basic measuring equipment
· General knowledge of all NY boroughs
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of construction industry
· Demonstrate ability to understand architectural drawings
· Basic AutoCad skills
· Previous experience in architectural metal, miscellanea iron or storefront preferred
· Must possess a current drivers license.
· Maintain an insurable driving record
· Must be comfortable on fixed and suspended scaffolding
· Must be comfortable working at heights
Company will provide:
· NYC 40 Hour SST card:
30 Hour OSHA training, 8 Hour fall prevention and 2 Hour drug & alcohol awareness.
· 16 Hour suspended & 4 Hour supported scaffold training
