Looking for a Part Time office Assistant to work with us in our Bridgewater, NJ office. Hours can accommodate the right candidate's schedule for approximately 24 hours a week. Could be 3 days a week for 8 hours OR may be similar to 5 hours a day for 5 days a week. Would like a positive attitude person to assist with administration and clerical support duties to include customer service, accounting, emailing and filing. We need someone who is organized, a self starter, computer literate, dependable and with excellent communication skills, both written and verbally. No weekends required. We are an established business that has been in operation for more than 25 years.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Answer Telephones and interacting with customers.
2. Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office and Excel.
3. General clerical duties to include but not limited to: Accounting, scanning, emailing and filing.
4. Support with the day to day administrative functions.
5. Maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems.
6. Support staff in assigned project based work.
7. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
1. previous experience in an office setting preferred.
2. Experience administrative professional who is dependable, organized and has a positive attitude.
3. Technologically literate with strong computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other commonly used software.
4. Strong organizational skills and record keeping.
5. Strong oral and written communication skills.
6. Self started who can work independently.
7. Skill in establishing priorities and managing workload.
8. Ability to follow directions.
