LIQUOR STORE SEEKING POSITION FOR CASHIER
Liquor store in Old Bridge, NJ seeking individuals for full time cashier/sales/inventory position. Prior retail experience preferred. Lottery experience is a BIG plus.
Must have:
-Good work ethic
-Positive attitude
-Ability to work independently
-Ability to take direction
-Professional interest in wine and spirits
-Ability to take initiative/self-motivated
-Strong customer service skill
-Ability to understand basic math skills
-Ability to lift 20lb+
Responsibilities include (but aren’t limited to):
-Keeping cashier area clean, neat, stocked, and organized
-Help enhance customer service by providing outstanding cashier services
-Work in a fast-paced manner during peak hours
-Count change accurately
-Check customers for ID to ensure they are of legal drinking age
-Light cleaning
-Help with other tasks during down time & stock shelves during down time
-Learn lottery
PART TIME or FULL TIME 20+ hours/week.
WEEKEND, EVENING, and HOLIDAY AVAILABILITY IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST. If you are not available on the weekends, evenings, or can't put in some hours on holidays - please do not respond to this ad. You may not be working every weekend or holiday, but you have to be available if needed.
We are looking for an individual that will help enhance our customer service by providing outstanding cashier services quickly and accurately at check out. Although you will mostly be needed behind the counter, your job is not limited to only that. You must be trustworthy, reliable, punctual, and willing to put in hard work and effort. Liquor store/Lottery experience is a BIG plus!
