We are a small packaged food company looking for a couple more pick and pack team member to help us get orders out the door.
You will be working alongside 20-25 team members in a relaxed 'mini-warehouse' atmosphere. No forklifts, no 100 degree temperatures, no yelling supervisors, no customer service.
Title: Packaging Associate
Objective: To help "pick and pack" customer orders, and be an effective member of our team.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong team player (able to do basic work with others without arguing)
- Good communicator (able to speak up if issues arise)
- High attention to detail and organization (able to pick orders accurately)
- Physically able bodied (able to lift 50lbs safely and walk all day)
- Fluent in English (need to read invoices and packaging labels)
- Have Reliable transportation (we are not near a bus stop).
- Interested in ...anything (able to hold a conversation with team members while working)
Responsibilities:
* Pick products to be packaged
* Package products to be shipped
* Stock shelves, replenish inventory
* Organize packaging and stock rooms
* Help unload shipments, cut down boxes
* Label products, create gift baskets, and other small projects
* Be part of the team and help with other tasks when necessary
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm. We are flexible inside these times if needed.
Location: Flemington, NJ area
Pay: Compensation starts at $12/hour paid weekly, subject to deductions for taxes and other withholdings as required by law. Pay increases are merit-based and time based, and can happen at any time during the year.
