Battery Lab Technician (Location Princeton/ Monmouth Junction)
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Up to four new positions open for battery lab technicians (full time or part time opportunities).
There is also potential future upward mobility in this growing company in the exciting lithium battery industry.
The selected candidates will be responsible or important hands-on work including the precision fabrication and low volume production of battery cells, systems and prototypes. This requires dexterity of handling and production within a glove box.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TECHNICIAN INCLUDE:
Project level contributions, progress and responsibility in multi-step processing, assembly & precision production of battery cells. Responsiveness to program management team and accountability in keeping up with schedules to meet customer needs.
Experience in a lab environment necessary to maintain precision requirements.
Performance in accord with duplication of detailed work-flow and protocols
Hands-on role in detailed testing, documentation of work products
Performance in accord with maintaining test specifications and verification
Additional chemical formulation and testing in clean room and dry room laboratory environments
SPECIFIC SKILLS AND TRAINING:
College-level chemistry. electrical/electronics, laboratory training OR equivalent multi-year work experience
Demonstrated technician on-the job work training/experience
Highly reliable work ethic and meticulous work practices and ethic
Experience working via glove box environment is desirable
Must have necessary dexterity in handling fine materials, precision assembling & work flow
Experience in the battery or electrochemistry industry would be an added plus
Experience in data collection & recording with analytical & test equipment
U.S. citizenship or Green Card
Professional caliber communication skills
Team spirit and taking personal pride in the work are essential
