The Per Diem Officer MUST:
-Red SORA
-NJ Permit to Carry or RPO
-Friendly, customer service attitude
-Present well in uniform, maintain professional appearance and standards
-Available to cover shifts on nights and weekends
-Willing to work armed and unarmed posts to fill vacancies as needed
-Willing to travel reasonable distances throughout NJ to fill vacant shifts
Please do not apply if:
-You have ever no called/no showed a job
-You do not have reliable transportation
-You are constantly late for assignments
-You do not wear the security officer uniform properly or are unwilling to adhere to uniform standards
-Unwilling to work both armed and unarmed posts
Pay rate for per diem officers is $20-$25 for unarmed posts and $25-$30 for armed posts with some postings paying more.
