Retail Apparel Company is looking for a dynamic, strategic thinker with 15+ years of experience to move the company out of AS400 and older RPG and into new technology that could be C#, Java, Oracle (No SAP). This is a BLANK SLATE position where the CTO is a critical member of the Management team, responsible for overseeing IT functions in a collaborative and service-minded manner. Will collaborate with members of the Executive Team to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving this goal. Will establish long-term IT technology needs and plans including networking and infrastructure strategies for developing systems and acquiring software and hardware necessary to meet those needs. The company operates a global business with multiple distribution channels. Will establish the future direction of the company’s information systems and security systems to execute this strategy in collaboration with internal teams. Must have exceptional interpersonal skills needed to work cross-functionally and effectively to engage the overall organization. Must have prior experience moving older technology into the new world.
