Overview:
The Updates Deployment Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, scheduling and performing client software updates in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will be organized and be able to maintain a productive schedule while also being detail-orientated to perform software updates accurately and reliably. The candidate should also be able to communicate clearly to clients and other internal staff members through means of emails, forms, and phone calls, escalating to the department manager as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and schedule client software updates in a timely manner
Follow established processes for documentation and tracking of updates
Provide satisfactory communication with clients to guide them through the updates process
Escalate issues to the technical support team, development team, project manager and department manager as necessary
Responsible for other duties as assigned by manager to meet business needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
SQL programming and relational database knowledge
Ability to start work at around 7am ET and occasionally earlier as required
Ability to occasionally work late nights and weekends as required
Strong attention to detail and quality of work
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, Apache Tomcat, and Java is preferred
Experience with retail software or providing technical support in small/medium business applications
Compensation: Competitive Salary with major growth potential, medical benefits, 401K, flexible spending account, 15 PTO days annually, optional dental/optical coverage. Salary range is $40,000-$55,000 depending on experience.
