We are a local courier delivery company with almost 100 years experience and we are hiring.
We are open to flexible Work Schedules
Final schedule will be discussed with management before hire.
Job Description: Delivery specialist do not have assigned territories or routes. Flexibility and adaptability are critical to the role. Previous customer service experience is helpful.
Customer Pick Ups - You will be engaging with our customers. You must wear uniform, have a professional appearance, and basic customer service skills.
Customers are #1. The biggest part of your job is making our customers happy.
Drop Box Pick Ups - You will be sweeping our drop boxes at customer locations.
Parcel and Mail Delivery - Your primary role is to support customer accounts. You will support route deliveries when required. Understanding the urgency of next day delivery and on time delivery is critical to success in this role.
Disaster Recovery - You will support your teammates if they fall behind. You may be asked to make make extra parcel deliveries or pickups in the field when there are emergencies.
Sorting and Scanning - You will support supervisors and teammates with scanning and sorting work in the warehouse when required.
Job Requirements
You must be a minimum of 25 years of age.
You must have and maintain a clean driving record.
You must have your license for at least 5 years.
We will run a motor vehicle background check. Safety is non-negotiable.
If you do not have a clean driving record, do not apply.
You must be physically able to stand, sit, and lift.
Most our packages our 5lbs or less but packages can be as heavy as 55lbs.
You must be able to use a hand held scanner
You must be able to follow a manifest and hit scheduled deadlines.
You must have an eye for detail.
You must follow procedure.
Previous experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
