Job Title: Driver/Helper - Appliance Delivery and Installation
Location: Edison, NJ
Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Pay: $160 per day + tips(You can make up to $300 in tips per week or more, with the potential to earn up to $1000 per week!)
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Driver/Helper to assist with the delivery and installation of home appliances. You must have a clean driving record and experience driving a 26ft box truck. Working alongside a delivery team, you will ensure high-quality, white-glove service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Drive a 26ft box truck.
Assist with the delivery and installation of home appliances, including washers, dryers, gas stoves, and refrigerators.
Disassemble and reassemble refrigerator doors when necessary.
Use lifting straps and handle heavy items safely.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth delivery experience.
Experience Required:
Experience with white-glove delivery service.
Expertise in installing washers, dryers, and gas stoves.
Familiarity with disassembling and reassembling refrigerator doors.
Skilled in using lifting straps to move heavy items.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Job Qualifications:
Must have experience driving a 26ft box truck.
Must have a valid DOT medical card.
Must pass a drug test.
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Must have a clean criminal record (no felonies).
Must speak English fluently.
Must be willing to work long hours when required.
Must have reliable transportation to get to the job site.
Schedule:
5-6 days a week
