Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and friendly delivery driver to join our team at a local florist. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of flower arrangements, and other related items to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Deliver flower arrangements and related products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure the proper handling and transportation of delicate flower arrangements.
Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner when delivering orders.
Maintain accurate delivery records and invoices.
Assist with preparing and packaging orders.
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations when operating company vehicles.
Keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues to management promptly.
Perform other duties around the shop as assigned.
Opportunity for additional hours at the shop after deliveries for tasks such as stocking vases, answering phones, assisting customers, and cleaning shop after deliveries have been completed.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Prior delivery driving experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Must have the ability to lift and carry items up to 30 lbs.
Must have a positive attitude
