Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our FedEx team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong understanding of various truck types and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor-trailers
- Transport goods over short or long distances while adhering to traffic laws and maintaining delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries.
- Maintain accurate driving logs and records.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- At least ONE FULL YEAR/ACCUMULATIVE 365 DAYS Proven experience with TRAILERS
- Knowledge of load securement techniques for various types of freight.
- Strong physical stamina for loading/unloading and long hours of driving.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.
- Ability to pass drug/alcohol screenings and background checks.
