I run a warehouse / White Glove furniture delivery service for interior designers based out of North Plainfield, New Jersey . I’m looking for a driver / delivery person that’s responsible and on time. You will be driving a 14 foot box truck looking for somebody with a medical card as the truck has a DOT # . Must speak and understand English completely, and have experience doing this and be polite and courteous to the customers. Your job position will be driving receiving in furniture, opening and inspecting and building if needed a complete white glove delivery service also picture or mirror hanging if needed. We work a 40 hour a week Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 sometimes a little late if needed, but rare , sometimes Saturdays if you’re up for extra hours. I’m a smaller business. I’ve been doing this for over 25 years. I need someone that’s reliable as we mainly work sick here we don’t take days off. You will get paid every holiday like Labor Day ,Memorial Day , Thanksgiving, Fourth of July also, we close down from Christmas to New Year’s paid. Starting pay is $28 an hour and a dollar raise every year & paid weekly.
