Description

Seeking a Office 365 Engineer who will be responsible for driving the planning, implementing and support of our organization's collaboration platforms and web-based collaborative communication tools.



The position will help drive the strategic planning, and tactical activities while leveraging our "Cloud Forward" approach while also working to continuously improve our collaboration platforms to meet the evolving needs of our business community.



This position will help to drive our collaboration environment forward so that it evolves to meet the business needs in advance of the need, which means that this position will need to be in tune with where things are going before we get there.



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Drives the planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of MS Exchange and Power Platform, Planner, Whiteboard, OneDrive based initiatives (Upgrades, Plugins, WebParts, Bots, Third-Party Solutions, Exposing endpoints, and Integrations with Enterprise Systems and Platforms)

  • Participates in requirements gathering, investigating potential solutions, analyzing impact, communicating with highly technical and nontechnical stakeholders, and developing solutions that rely on MS Exchange and Power Platform

  • Develops and maintains operational reports and KPI's for MS Teams and Power Platfrom.

  • Generate, test, and document integration and program code. Debug and resolve moderate to complex integration problems

  • Partners with Enterprise Architecture to help in assessing new technologies and solutions that may be leveraged in our enterprise environment

  • Collaborates with architects to establish, maintain, and integrate roadmaps of MS Exchange and Power Platform, and supporting components

  • Collaborates with architects to establish best practices and ensure adherence to patterns and standards

  • Develops custom workflows, post functions, and validators, make changes to workflows, screens, fields, and reporting, and provide ongoing support and configuration maintenance.

  • Identifies new areas and business processes where MS Exchange and Power Platform can be leveraged and facilitate continual process improvement

  • Uses experience and process management skills to identify and implement continuous improvement activities throughout our collaboration environment

  • Performs MS Exchange and Power Platform development, plugin review/support, integration, performance monitoring / tuning, and application tier 2/3 support; provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

  • Develops strategic execution plan for leveraging OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online data repositories that align to our enterprise content management strategy and our SharePoint Online roadmap / strategy

  • Authors and maintains technical documentation, training materials and user-guides as applicable

  • Supports the planning and delivery of training with FAQ's, tips, tricks, and best practices

  • Support our Corporate Communications team with timely and relevant communications specific to platform enhancements or changes that are being released

  • All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements




QUALIFICATIONS


  • College degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, Business Administration or related field preferred

  • Two to five years of programmer/analyst experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years total of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft server and cloud-based productivity suites such as SharePoint, Dynamics, Exchange, Skype for Business, or Lync; with a minimum of 1 year direct experience with Microsoft 365 providing administrative support and solution implementation

  • Expert knowledge of Power Platform and other Office 365 technologies (PowerApps, Flow, Teams, OneDrive, Power BI, etc.)

  • Experience designing, developing and deploying MS Exchange and Power PLatform solutions around various use cases including case management, document management, knowledge management (KM), project and task management, and collaboration

  • Experience with deployment and troubleshooting of MS Exchange and Power Platform; developing and support integrations and hosted applications

  • Experience with analysis and performance of MS Exchange migrations from on-premises to online

  • Working knowledge of PowerShell

  • Detail oriented and highly motivated

  • Passion for designing, developing, and delivering collaboration solutions

  • Ability to think strategically to help identify the next step/direction in collaboration solutions and end user enablement

  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues, and solutions

  • Ability to work effectively and meet deadlines
