Immediate Industrial Assembler Position AvailableDescription:Position, erect, align, level electrical wiring, components, electrical panels and integrate their operations; performs fitting, aligning, and other components incidental to the electrical assembly of the machine.Position, erect, align, level; position sub-assemblies, units, and separates components and integrate their operationsReads and interprets work orders, schematics, and specifications to determine established electrical assembly methods.Connects wiring to accessories, such as relays, circuit breakers, plugs, condensers, switches, and installs accessory assemblies in electrical or electronic units, using soldering gun and hand tools.Utilize handheld tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drill guns, crimpers, etc.Use a variety of precision measuring and gauging instruments e.g. scale, calipers, etc., to inspect and verify conformance of parts to specifications/tolerancesAssists with final inspection and testing of machinery to ensure equipment meets performance standard and requirements.High attention to detail and self-motivation skillsCompletes all required documentationAble to analyze problems and offer solutionsMust be able to work well in a team environment and independentlySpecific Details:Precision AlignmentTaking engineering designs and building everything in house (only 15% of panels in house – only when they have extra time)Sub-Assemblies – device wiringWhen assembling will be done in groups of 1-3 for mechanical / 1-2 electricalElectrical side – low and high voltage wiring 480 domestic (460/380 international)Mechanical - specific alignment / optical alignment or “laser alignment” - all rollers need to be precisely aligned (Survey tools)0.005+/- tolerance on alignments / ½ thousand per footPneumatic pipe / Push lock fittings (not threated)Strong Pneumatics / Little hydraulicsPoly tubing – pneumatic control cabinetAssembly- mounting general maintenance – precision bearingsUnderstand the different types of bearings – need to be able to name 6 different kindsBending conduit / Threading pipe100’s of specific tasks – 8 different drawings per buildAbout Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
