Each day, you will provide regular feedback and make recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including production line organization, shifting priorities, and possible critical situations. You will also showcase your expertise by cooperating with the unit supervisor to create an effective work environment and reinforcing production schedules and quality.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the Switchgear Team in Hackettstown.You will be mainly accountable for:Helping management implement staff movements in case of vacations, illnesses, machine outages, or shifting priorities.Reinforcing focus on volume, efficiency, and on-time delivery.Assisting management and shift team in allocating, coordinating, and overseeing shift orders and work plan execution within production lines during the shift.Serving as a leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and the resolution of technical/quality problems and logistic issues.Qualifications for the roleYou enjoy working with math, computers, and mechanical processes and have worked in the manufacturing market for at least 2 yearsAbility to demonstrate your experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematicsYou are qualified in Lean and 5S preferredYou are energetic, good listener, well organized, with ability to prioritize High School Diploma or GED equivalentYou are at ease communicating in {insert required English both verbal and writtenComfortable bending, twisting, reachingComfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate-controlled environmentCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USMore about usWe value people from different backgrounds.
