Description We are offering a role for an Accounts Payable Analyst/Specialist the the Monmouth County, NJ area. This role focuses on processing invoices, generating billings, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities: Accurate and efficient processing of incoming invoices and generation of billings Collaborate with various teams including project managers, purchasing, and accounts payable to ensure correct coding of vendor invoices into specific accounting codes Conduct monthly reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts Daily review and processing of income invoices Execute monthly vendor audits Handle customer disputes regarding charges and provide explanations Prepare billing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and adjustments through oversight of the billing function Update and maintain customer profiles for accurate service and billing Assist in customer communications as needed to ensure timely receipt of payments Identify potential billing issues, recommend and implement process improvements Work on special projects independently or as part of a team, as needed.Requirements Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required Experience in managing high-volume invoicing is essential Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary Good communication and interpersonal skills are required Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Knowledge of billing regulations and procedures in the retail sector Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
