Description We are searching for a Sr. Accountant to become a part of our Professional Services client in Jersey City, New Jersey. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be tasked with handling account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Conducting account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations Managing bank reconciliations and recording necessary adjustments Ensuring accurate and timely processing of general ledger activities Handling journal entries and maintaining control schedules Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting Overseeing month-end close procedures Working with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for financial management and reportingRequirements Proven experience in IT Services industry is essential. Must hold a senior level position in Accounting or a related field. Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is a must. Demonstrable skills in Bank Reconciliations are necessary. Familiarity with General Ledger management is important. Ability to handle Journal Entries accurately and efficiently. Should be adept at using Microsoft Excel for accounting purposes. Experience in Month End Close procedures is required.
