Position Title: Senior React JS Location: Midtown Manhattan, NJ Duration: LONG TERM
Financial Firm looking for a Senior UI (ReactJS) Developer. This person will utilize JavaScript, ReactJS and HTML/CSS to build the next-generation UI of the team's global trade processing system.
Key Responsibilities Include: Understanding of modern web/app design standards including responsive design and styling guidelines Ability to replicate designs and hand write stylesheets Experienced in design with web usability standards and cross-browser compatibility Experience developing user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, and high-quality prototypes Build out automated testing and deployment System support and maintenance Working with traders, Front and Middle office users to gather web UI requirements and provide support Web UI design experience > 5 years +
Technical Skills Required Frontend development experience with JavaScript (ES6/7) and React Ability to replicate designs and hand write stylesheets Experience with front end web application development using one or more of the following CSS pre-processors: LESS, SASS, Stylus Ability to intuitively animate UI elements via custom CSS animation Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and Solid understanding of DOM, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript Solid grasp of application state vs local state and how these affect UI renders Experience with asynchronous data-driven actions Experience writing scalable, highly performant, instrumented, and clean code. Experienced in design with web usability standards and cross-browser compatibility Experience developing user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, and high-quality prototypes Experience with data integration; understanding/experience with RESTful API design or WebSockets Experience front-end tooling workflows: Node.js, Yarn, Webpack, Create React App, Flow, Babel, etc
