We are hiring a part-time bookkeeper / administrative assistant for our golf course and for our Maggie’s restaurant/bar.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Recording transactions, including purchases, receipts and payments using our accounting system (currently Sage 50 but considering switching to Quickbooks)
Reconciling accounts to ensure their accuracy
Performing administrative responsibilities associated with course operations. These encompass a wide range of activities, such as sorting mail, responding to payroll-related issues, responding to other external requests/notices, corresponding with vendors, etc.
Necessary Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, more welcome!
Experience using a computerized accounting system very desirable.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and on-line.
Must be reliable and able to meet deadlines.
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Good time management and organization skills; attention to detail and follow-up skills essential.
Must be honest and trustworthy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel desirable.
Ability to speak and write fluent English.
