Job description:
This role is responsible for ensuring a professional, welcoming clinic environment through client communication, scheduling coordination, and routine administrative and office support tasks.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist clients in person and by phone in a professional, welcoming manner.
Schedule and manage appointments for new and existing clients using the EHR system.
Answer incoming calls and emails and respond to routine client questions or route as appropriate.
Maintain strict confidentiality/HIPAA and accuracy of all client records and communications.
Upload faxes, laboratory results, and documents into client charts in a timely manner.
Collect payments and accurately record transactions as required.
Monitor, record, and assist with ordering and inventory.
Maintain a clean, organized office environment and complete general administrative tasks as assigned.
Details:
$20/hr
Temporary position 3 months
Hours for 2 weeks of training - 1:30-5 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Ongoing hours - 1-5 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
No remote work
Required:
Receptionist experience
Computer skills
Experience answering the telephone in a professional environment
Strong communication and multi-tasking skills
Attention to detail & accuracy
Business casual attire and professional appearance
Prefer:
Someone who has had medical administrative/receptionist experience
Some knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge of EMR systems
Interested in holistic medicine
Education:
High school diploma or GED minimum
