Position Overview:
Supports the lounge operations, ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service is provided. Responsible for all Guest Experience functions. Areas of responsibility include overseeing and managing the Guest Experience, Lounge VIP services. Books and oversees all lounge VIP bookings to ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided. responsible for securing new business and maintaining repeat customers for a facility orÂcateringÂservice provider Represents hotel management in resolving any guest or hotel related situation on the spot. Is responsible for proactively enhancing the whole guest experience from post arrival to pre departure and when required, will perform duty manager roles.
The Job:
-knowledge of nightclub Lounge operations
-Leadership experience in fine dining or catering services required
-Experience with promoting nightlife and bar operations
-Demonstrated ability to communicate with clients using social media outlets
-Must be highly organized, results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced changing environment
-Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests and team members using a positive, clear speaking voice
-Strong interpersonal skills: ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful and flexible
-Ensures all VIP functions are up to standard and exceed guest's expectations
-Must possess strong communication and listening skills
-Ability to take initiative and ownership to resolve problems
-Must have the ability to work with guests and respond immediately and accurately to their needs and requirements
-Take sales calls, follow leads, generate leads
-Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis

-Basic Bar Service Knowledge
-Banquet Events or VIP lounge experience a plus (more than 1 year)
-Maintains good energy level and is a team player
-Ability to work in a multi tasked high pace, stressful enviroment
-Ability to work a varied schedule that will include evenings, nights, and weekends
-Must be computer literate; have experience using Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office
The Rest:
-Attendance: Adheres to established schedule of work hours. Follows established procedures for early notification to supervisor when unable to report to work.
-Punctuality: Arrives to work at scheduled times and works until authorized to leave.
-Attends all mandatory education/in-service programs and demonstrates understanding of responsibilities through appropriate actions.
-Demonstrates effective communication by utilizing positive verbal and non-verbal skills in all interactions.
-Must be able to work a flexible schedule and extra hours when needed.
-Demonstrates adherence to the resorts safe practice procedures and makes recommendations to improve safety. Reports any unsafe work practice to supervisor.
-utilizes proper body mechanics in performance of responsibilities, as evidenced by supervisors observation and no injury to self or others due to improper work habits.
-Follows proper reporting procedures when injured at work. Is aware of the location of material safety data sheets and refers to them when necessary.
-Always acts in a manner that is in keeping with all local, state & governmental codes and laws and maintains the highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness
