26 West on the Navesink is looking for enthusiastic bartenders, servers, and support staff to join our team! Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Strong servers should be able to accurately sell menu items and build relationships with guests. Compensation includes hourly and tips. We have a large event and a la carte business that continues to grow!
We are currently open 7 days per week for lunch and dinner. Weekends, including Sunday, are a must as these are our busiest times. We do close certain major holidays including the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
Experience is preferred however we are willing to train from any level of experience. Candidates should be a team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and provide friendly service. We do have multiple floors with no elevators so candidates should be able to meet the physical demands of the job as well.
Responsibilities/Skills:
Prepare/Serve alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
Restock and replenish bar/server station inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Resume and proven working experience as a bartender or server OR willingness to learn
Computer literacy
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep the bar/restaurant organized, stocked and clean
Must be able to get a Red Bank ABC card and sell liquor in NJ.
